(CAPE). PHS/EHD has the following comments for your consideration. <br /> The report included the results of the limited soil investigation which was initiated on June 29_1994 and <br /> consisted of four soil borings, B1-B4 drilled to a maximum depth of 26.5 feet below ground surface. The <br /> laboratory results from soil samples collected from B1 and B4 evidenced soil contamination up to 24,000 ppm <br /> TPH. While BTEX was not detected in any samples, the reporting limit was elevated in the B1-15' sample, <br /> without adequate notation in Table 1. <br /> CAPE recommended the contaminated soil be remediated by removal during the excavation activities along with <br /> the two underground storage tanks and associated piping.
