CAMBRIA
CVRWQCB APPENDIX B CHECKLIST RESPONSES
The following are responses to the checklist items contained in Appendix B of the "Tri-Regional
Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground
Tank Sites "
1. Distance to production wells for municipal, domestic, agriculture, industry and other uses
within 2000 feet of the site,
No well survey has been completed for this site However, groundwater analytical results from the
site monitoring wells indicate that the fuel hydrocarbons originating from the site do not threaten any
potential sensitive receptors in the site vicinity TPHg and BTEX have not been detected in
groundwater samples collected from the site wells since August 1999 and MTBE concentrations in
all site wells have been below 5 ppb since May 1999 Information from the State of California
Geotracker database indicates the nearest municipal water supply well is farther than %4-mile from this
site
• 2 Site maps, to scale, of area impacted showing locations offormer and existing tank systems,
excavation contours and sample locations, boring and monitoring well elevation contours,
gradients, and nearby surface waters, buildings, streets, and subsurface utilities;
A site vicinity map and a site plan are included as Figures 1 and 2,respectively Soil sample locations
and the UST excavation area are also shown on Figure 2 The first quarter 2002 groundwater contour
map is presented in Attachment C
3. Figures depicting lithology(cross section), treatment system diagrams,
Geologic cross sections are included in Attachment E An extended pilot vapor extraction test was
conducted at the site during December 1991 through January 1992 No other remedial system was
used or installed at this site Therefore, no system design diagrams are available Aegis' reports
summarizing the pilot vapor extraction test are included in Attachment B
