The purpose of the investigation <br /> was to further define the degree and extent of soil and ground <br /> water contamination at the site. This report also documents the <br /> destruction of one off-site monitoring well in accordance with <br /> KEI ' s above referenced work plan/proposal. The scope of the work <br /> performed by KEI consisted of the following: <br /> Coordination with regulatory agencies <br /> Geologic logging of two borings for the installation of <br /> two ground water monitoring wells <br /> The destruction of one monitoring well <br /> Soil sampling <br /> Ground water monitoring, purging, and development of the <br /> newly Installed wells <br /> Delivery of soil samples (including properly executed <br /> Chain of Custody documentation) to a California-certified <br /> analytical laboratory for laboratory analyses <br /> Data analysis, interpretation, and report preparation <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> The subject site formerly contained a Unocal service station <br /> facility. The site occupies flat terrain and is located at the <br /> y northeast corner of the intersection of Pacific Avenue and <br /> Robznhood Drive in Stockton, California.
