Ms Tina Berry <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> RE Continuing Ground Water Investigation at PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Former Unocal Service Station #5098 <br /> 5606 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton California <br /> Dear Ms Berry <br /> This report presents the results of Kaprealian Engineering, Inc ' s <br /> (KEI) most recent soil and ground water investigation for the <br /> referenced site, in accordance with KEI ' s proposal (KEI-P88- <br /> 1013 P4) dated September 11 , 1995 The purpose of the investiga- <br /> tion was to further define the degree and extent of ground water <br /> contamination at the site Soil contamination at the site has been <br /> adequately addressed, as stated in a letter from the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB) , Central Valley Region, dated August <br /> 25 , 1988 A site description and background are presented in <br /> Appendix A <br /> The scope of the work performed by KEI consisted of the following <br /> Coordination with regulatory agencies <br /> Geologic logging of two borings for the installation of <br /> two ground water monitoring wells <br /> Soil sampling <br /> Ground water monitoring, purging, and development of the <br /> newly installed wells <br /> Delivery of soil samples (including properly executed <br /> Cnain of Custody documenr-acion) co a California-certified <br /> analytical laboratory for laboratory analyses <br /> Data analysis, interpretation, and report preparation <br /> RECENT FIELD ACTIVITIES - GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION <br /> 41 <br />. On November 2 , 1995 , two additional two-inch diameter monitoring <br /> wells (designated as MW16 and MW17 on the attached Figure 1) were <br /> installed in the vicinity of the site The wells were each <br /> 2401 Stanwell Drive,Suite 400 <br /> Concord,California 94520 <br /> Tel 510 602 5100 Fax 510 6B7 0602 <br />
