Food Express , Inc. - Lathrop , CA <br /> Fuel Delivery Instructions <br /> (Loading, Unloading and Equipment Personnel/Commercial and <br /> Vehicle Refueling) <br /> The following instructions are required to be followed as applicable: <br /> 1). Confirm delivery of product and volume (gallons) to be delivered with on-site <br /> Manager, electronic monitoring system and/or check levels in tank, as applicable. <br /> 2). Facility utilizes a tank gauge measurement system. The monitoring system will <br /> indicate the fuel height in feet and inches. The fuel tank is measured prior to <br /> loading to ensure the load will fit and when the tank is reaching capacity <br /> delivery drivers are required to cease all product delivery IMMEDIATELY. <br /> 3). There is a NO SMOKING policy on site. Signs are appropriately posted. <br /> 4). Keep any fire or fire source away from tanks and delivery vehicles. <br /> 5). Set handbrake or use tire chocks while refueling tractors rigs. <br /> 6). No AST tank or container is to be filled beyond 90 percent capacity. <br /> 7). Driver and/or employee must remain within 25 feet and in full view of the fill points <br /> during any fuel transfer. <br /> 8). Engine shall be shut off, unless it is used to power the delivery pump. <br /> 9). Ensure all facility transfer lines are disconnected/closed and leak free prior to <br /> departure. <br /> 10). Examine and ensure that all valves, hoses, connections, fittings and lowermost <br /> drains on fuel vehicles are secure prior to departure and free from any leaks. <br /> 11.) This process is uniform for refueling equipment and unloading oil products <br /> during any and all routine handing of oil products at FXI's site. <br /> 12.) After fueling a vehicle(s) - employee shall turn off pump or dispenser; ensure nozzle <br /> (automatic) handle clip is released (off). Observe that there is no nozzle drip. Then <br /> make sure the nozzle and hose is returned to the dispenser and properly mounted. <br /> Ensure that the dispenser is turned off and no unauthorized dispensing occurs <br /> during non operational hours. <br /> 13.) Hose and nozzle will be returned to the fueling dispenser when not in use. <br /> 14.) The AGT is connected to the fueling dispenser. Facility is a self-service, private <br /> refueling facility and no public access is permitted. <br /> Environmental Services 12 <br /> 2012 <br />
