Food Express , Inc. - Lathrop , CA
Tank Truck Loading- Nnloading Area Containment 40 CFR 112.7(h)
As is applicable to any of the associated oil product storage containers, all of the
piping, pumps, headers, values and flanges for the single wall fuel oil product tank is
contained on the concrete pad. Loading hoses can be moved for loading fuel into the
fuel oil product tank. Any discharge, spill or pipe rupture will be contained and mitigation
measures will be taken by trained personnel on site. Only compromise to the tank truck
or hose connection to the truck would result in a discharge outside of the controlled
containment system. The area where the delivery truck parks is located just west of the
concrete pad area. Any discharge or spill that cannot be contained will flow southwest
and be contained on site.
All drivers and site personnel would be expected to cease all oil product flow and
contain the discharge utilizing on-site prevention procedures and equipment. Absorbent
materials and booms will be used and proper containment, storage, and disposal
procedures will be implemented.
Management will be notified of any discharge or spill from the load inglunloading
area and proper procedures within this SPCC Plan will be implemented.
Field Constructed Tanks 40 CFR 112.7(1)
No oil products storage tanks were constructed on site. All storage tanks were
manufactured and delivered to the facility. Field construction tank requirements of 40
CFR 112.7(i) are not applicable to this facility.
Environmental Services 28
2012
