Food Express , Inc. - Lathrop , CA <br /> Appendix E <br /> Response Equipment, Cleanup Team <br /> Members and Spill Response Directions <br /> Cleanup Team: <br /> • Michael Collins (Team Leader) <br /> • Rob Milligan (Team Leader) <br /> Communication Equipment <br /> All FXI's Personnel have Cellular Phones and/or two way radios for <br /> communications. <br /> Clean-Up and Absorption Materials on Site <br /> 2 each 33 lb bags of absorbent material <br /> 1 unit 12 volt high speed portable pump <br /> 100 each Organic Absorption Pads and Booms <br /> 3 units Fire extinguishers for Emergency Fire Suppression <br /> 1 unit Miscellaneous Tools and Shovels <br /> 1 unit Material for Plugging Leaks <br /> 2 each labeled containment drums for Hazardous Waste (Non RCRA) <br /> Response & Solutions <br /> A typical response is made, a work plan is submitted and approved (as <br /> necessary), and site work is completed under appropriate regulatory mandates. <br /> FXI clean-up and responses: <br /> • Spill clean-up work is done in teams (teams consist of at least one team <br /> leader). <br /> • A gallon amount and danger level is determined prior to proceeding with <br /> any mitigation of any spill. <br /> • A simple work plan is developed to clean up a spill. <br /> • The spill is controlled (stopped), contained, and then teams work to clean- <br /> up the discharged spill in a safe, appropriate, and approved manner. <br /> • All hazardous waste is placed in approved and labeled Containers. <br /> • Hazardous Waste is shipped per California State Law under manifest to a <br /> Transfer Site Disposal Facility, (TSDF). <br /> Thus a safe, efficient and approved cleanup work plan is executed to clean up <br /> any spill. <br /> FXI will bring in outside contractors as necessary and are able to respond to their <br /> own spills and have the necessary certifications to do so. <br /> All Team Leaders for FXI are trained. <br /> Environmental Services 39 <br /> 2012 <br />
