ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOURCES <br /> It could be possible for the facility to use fuel sources otherl <br /> than the waste oil/virgin fuel oil combination. Probable alternative <br /> fuels would be fuel oil , butane/propane or wood chips. Use of fuel oil <br /> would have comparable emissions rates and standards to the use of waste <br /> oil/fuel oil combination. Use of butane or propane would likely reduce <br /> particulate emissions, but would reduce or eliminate the project's cost- <br /> effectiveness. Surface and groundwater pollution from illegal disposal <br /> of waste oil around the County would also remain unabated. <br /> 6-5 <br /> 101-40.R3 4/10/89 <br />
