Item No. 4
PC: 11-5-92
GP-92-12/ZR-92-14
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The General Plan Amendment application and Zone Reclassification application propose to change 37
acres, composed of nine parcels, from General Agriculture/AG-40(40-acre minimum parcel size)to Limited
Agriculture/AL-5 (5-acre minimum parcel size).
Of the nine parcels, eight are less than 10 acres in size and could not be subdivided under the proposed
AL-5 zone.
The underlying project, which has not yet been submitted, is expected to be a Minor Subdivision
application to subdivide a 16.37-acre parcel into three 5-acre parcels and attach the remainder to an
existing 3.57-acre parcel, resulting in a parcel just under 5 acres in size.
In a previous application, the owner of the 16.37-acre parcel proposed to provide the following on-site
services to the parcels resulting from the project: private wells, individual septic systems, and on-site
storm water retention ponds.
-6-
