i
Item No. 2
PC: 7-16-92
VR-92-6
Page 3
report as Attachment A. The basis upon which the applicants themselves are able to make the Finding
is 'historical' recognition of the two parcels.
The 'Property History' section of the staff report states that the subject parcel has been recognized as
a single parcel since December 14, 1977. The fact that the subject parcel still has two assessor parce
numbers is not due to a recognition of two separate legal parcels but rather to the fact that a 30-acr
portion of the site is under Williamson Act Contract and is taxed at a different rate than the remaining 4
acres.
NEIGHBORHOOD SUPPORT:
In response to the referral of the Variance application, two letters were received from property owners i
the vicinity of the subject parcel. Both of those letters (see Attachment B) stated the owner's support for
the requested Variance.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS:
An Initial Study was prepared for this project on May 28, 1992. On the basis of that review, no significant
adverse environmental impacts were identified, and a Negative Declaration was prepared. In addition
a Certificate of Fee Exemption with a 'De Minimis Impact Finding' has been prepared which states thal
the project will not have an adverse impact upon wildlife resources.
