SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Anival de Casas to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study for his property located at 4338 North Homer Street, <br /> Stockton, California. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> Mr. De Casas intends to place a new three-bedroom home on the Site. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site is defined as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 087-130-42. The parcel is 0.31 <br /> acres in size and is located at 4338 North Homer Street, Stockton, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Site is currently vacant (Plate 2). A domestic well is located on the Site, but Mr. De <br /> Casas indicated that it is not currently connected to a power source. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 36 to 37 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat <br /> (Plate 3). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the Site is zoned R-L, Low Density Residential. This <br /> zoning designation "is intended to provide for neighborhoods consisting of detached, <br /> single family residences located within or immediately adjacent to population centers <br /> which have public services." <br /> LOGE 20-10 Page 1 <br />
