r
PROPOSED MEETING AGENDA
CHAPIN BROTHERS INC
1766 Monte Diablo Ave.
Stockton, California
Location: San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Services
Date: 04 October 1999
Atte_ ndine: Mr. Russell Chapin - Property Owner/Responsible Party
Mr. Mark List- RWQCB
Mr. Harlin Knoll and Ms. Margaret Lagorio - PHS-EHD
Mr. William Little and Mr. Robert Marty
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Proposed Discussion:
1. As presented in the previous quarterly report, the extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon impact
to the ground water at the site has been well defined.
2. Over the monitoring period, the dissolved hydrocarbon plume has remained stable.
3. Additionally, the hydrocarbon plume concentrations, in both soil and ground water, have
been considerably reduced over the site remediation period.
4. Soil gas have been reduced to concentrations below the detection limits of the soil vapor
analytical method.
AGE recommends the following:
• Conduct a ground water monitoring. During this quarterly sampling event, collect water
samples from selected wells to allow for the most representative ground water data (i.e. all
vapor wells with screens in the current water table level and all ground water wells, also
consider the sampling of air-sparging wells).
• Prepare a request for certified site closure.
• Abandon wells on and off the site.
