This <br /> equipment was not complete, pars missing etc, causing rnary hours of non-operational <br /> time and expense. <br /> March 28, 1997 In accordance with my request AGE conducted a revicw <br /> o;the soil vapor extraction (SVE)network an in-situ air sparing (IAS) nevvork installed <br /> at this site The review was cond=cd to determine if a reed for additional wells and <br /> networking was expected also lucluding the soil beneath the bilildin¢. <br /> March 28, 1997 we continued to receive delinquent notices E-om the office of S. J. <br /> Public Eealth Services. These char2o6 was be reversed in 1992. Only one tarl. fee was <br /> reversed leaving a balance of$978,26. Many attempts tc correct thus over-billing failed. <br /> We referred this mattes to Scn. Patrick Johnson, ane-vlr. Rick Aguilera assistant to <br /> supen,'sor Gutierrez, Both parties referred this cornplai:;t to Terry Dermody, S.J. County <br /> Counsel.Resuhs-the County stopped billing <br /> October 29.A.G.E provided a status update on the Soil Vapor Extraction/Air <br /> SparginQ Operation noting repaire to the loin-A,__l, ser;:j-_e anA n,:ai:.te ,erten uEfEct$,the. <br /> fragilitics of the SVE izit have incroes.d support time required although the system <br /> through October 1997 operated with less than nvelve (12 j hours of non-operational <br /> time.
