Hazardous Waste Generator Training <br />Initial/Refresher Traininp, <br />Fifteen to thirty minutes to inform our employees of the following: <br />- If you spill, take the correct actions and clean it up. <br />- When done for the day, close all lids SECURELY on bins/containers containing waste <br />- All filters drain & put in sealed container <br />- All shavings/grinding need to be swept up & put with other oil debris (waste <br />bin/container) <br />- Evergreen and/or Safety Kleen are "spill helpers." The contact numbers are located in <br />Bob Costanza's office (above printer) <br />Positions/Descriptions: <br />Shop Technician(s)- Performs daily shop maintenance duties <br />Job Duties: <br />All shop technicians are securing HW lids when done filling, throwing kitty litter over <br />small oil leaks from trucks in the shop, labels containers, places shavings/grindings in <br />clearly labeled bins daily (if needed), when performing there normal job tasks <br />(truck/trailer services). <br />Job Title: <br />The skills, educations, experience and knowledge needed from a shop technician in order <br />to fill the job(s) are: <br />- Common sense <br />- High school graduate <br />- Initial/refresher training(s) <br />- Knowing your surroundings in case an incident occurs/contact numbers/exit(s) <br />* * Our hazardous waste training was held on April 12, 2012 for the first ("correct") time, <br />to any/all shop employees. Previously these trainings were held, however not meeting the <br />EHD's standards, on the Trainers training * * <br />
