Carpenter Rd., Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />Notes: (corrected on site) <br />- A 55 gallon steel drum of used absorbent was observed without a hazardous property marked on the <br />label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties (flammable, reactive, corrosive, toxic) <br />4. physical state (liquid, solid, gas) <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Label was corrected at the time of inspection. <br />- A portable pan of used oil was observed stored in the shop without a lid. All hazardous waste <br />containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Container was emptied <br />into the used oil tank at the time of inspection. <br />- Copies of spent lead acid battery disposal records were not found on site. The generator shall retain <br />on site a legible copy of each manifest or bill of lading which identifies spent lead acid batteries shipped <br />to a person who stores, uses, reuses, recycles, or reclaims the batteries or their components. Copies of <br />core battery disposal were faxed to the facility at the time of inspection. <br />- A box of spent alkaline batteries was observed without the words "Universal Waste." A generator shall <br />label or mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' and the type of waste (alkaline batteries, <br />mercury containing equipment, fluorescent bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, aerosol cans).
