Carpenter Rd., Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />108. Metal fines generated from metal grinding, sanding, and cutting are being recycled as scrap metal <br />without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall <br />determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a hazardous <br />waste determination for the metal waste, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste <br />regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is <br />determined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br />this waste was managed by September 28, 2013. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by September 28, <br />2013 along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br />violation and any supporting paperwork. <br />Provided: Return to Compliance Certification form <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANX TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspector:Received <br />By: n <br />Title: y <br />1 <br />/ � VU " <br />EHD 23-02-003 04/19/12 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
