H1 ALTM y <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE KOK Realty, 2403 W Navy Drive, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report summarizes field work completed by RESNA Industries, Inc (RESNA) at <br /> 2403 W Navy Drive, Stockton, California (the Site) during the first quarter of 1993 The Site <br /> location is shown on Figure 1 <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The Site was the location of one underground storage tank In response to a San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) request for a subsurface <br /> investigation, RESNA was engaged by the law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery to assess the <br /> nature and extent of soil and groundwater contamination at the site <br /> In early 1992 three soil borings (MW 1, MW2, and MW3) were drilled at the Site by RESNA <br /> to characterize subsurface conditions Groundwater was encountered at a depth of approximately <br /> 15 feet below ground surface The bonngs were advanced to a depth of approximately 30 feet <br /> below grade and subsequently converted to groundwater monitoring wells <br /> Soil samples were collected from each of the three borings and submitted to a state-certified <br /> laboratory for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) Laboratory analyses determined that petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> constituents were detected in the soil within 4-5 feet of the static water levels at the site A <br /> 1 QMR 1993 FNL <br /> V <br />
