Quarterly Monitoring Report, April through June 1992, and Results of Soil <br /> Borings, Site Code 1203, Stockton Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, 2500 <br /> W Navy Drive, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report summarizes groundwater monitoring activities at the above referenced site <br /> (Figure 1) during the second quarter of 1992 These activities included groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling of site wells, locating and repairing well MW4, and advancing shallow soil borings <br /> for soil sample collection to investigate potential residual diesel contamination associated with <br /> the former underground diesel storage tank <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The subject site is located at 2500 W Navy Drive, Stockton, California (Figure 1) The <br /> property is occupied by the City of Stockton Regional Wastewater Control Plant The site <br /> previously had an underground fuel storage tank (UST) to service facility vehicles and <br /> equipment <br /> A 5,000 gallon diesel tank was removed from this facility in August 1987 (Figure 2) Free <br /> petroleum product was noted floating on groundwater within the tank pit Based upon the <br /> presence of free product and the initial sample results, the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) required an investigation to assess the <br /> extent of contamination <br /> LR090392 JPL <br />
