Well MW4 could not be located
and is presumed to have been inadvertently paved over during recent resurfacing activities
Static groundwater elevations were measured prior to purging and sampling any well on site
Groundwater flows northeast with a gradient of 0.013 ft/ft, or approximately 70 ft/mile (Figure
2) Groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1
Groundwater samples were collected from wells MWI, MW2, and MW3 on March 17, 1992
Prior to sample collection, each well was purged of a minimum of 50 gallons of water to collect
representative groundwater samples Purged water was contained in 55 gallon drums (DOT H),
labelled, and stored on site. Groundwater samples were collected after physical parameters (pH,
temperature, and conductivity) were monitored and had stabilized. Samples were collected using
a disposable bailer with a bottom-emptying device Field purge logs are presented in Attachment
1.
WWLRO592 TJL
