Obtain a Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br />number is 916-255-2501. <br />2. Entrance doors to food preparation area and service openings shall be self-closing. <br />(CRFC Section 114303) <br />3. Food service openings: <br />Shall be no more than 216 square inches and no less than 18 inches apart. <br />Shall be covered with solid material or screen. If screen is used it must be at least <br />16-mesh per inch.(CRFC Section 114259.2) <br />4. Walls and ceilings shall be constructed so surfaces are impervious, smooth and <br />cleanable. (CRFC Section 114301) <br />5. Light bulbs and tubes shall be covered and completely enclosed in plastic safety shields <br />or the equivalent. (CRFC Section 114323) <br />6. Tanks shall be adequately vented for flow. Water tank vents shall terminate in a <br />downward direction and shall be covered with 16-mesh per square inch screen or <br />equivalent when the vent is in a protected area or a protective filter when the vent is in <br />an area not protected from windblown dirt and debris.
