All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: Operator does not possess a food safety certificate. Provide a food safety certificate in order to ensure <br />proper food safety practices. Email a copy to Victor Acevedo (vmacevedo@sjcehd.com) within 60 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or sen./e non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br />#6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: Facility shall contain a soap dispenser and single use paper towels within a dispenser. This is to ensure <br />proper hand washing etiquette. Correct within 7 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(1)) <br />#64 Lack of Proper Owner Identification <br />OBSERVATIONS: Name of establishment shall be posted on both sides of mobile food facility with a minimum of 3" font <br />size. The city, state, zip code and name of owner shall be displayed on both sides as well with a minimum of 1" font size. <br />Correct before operation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: 1. The business name or the name of the operator, city state and ZIP code, and the name of the permittee if <br />different from the business name is not clearly visible on the customer side of the mobile food facility. [§114299(a)] 2. Business or <br />operator name is not at least 3 inches high and address is not one inch high. [§114299(b)] 3. Sign is not in contrasting color with the <br />vehicle exterior. [§114299(b)] 4.
