All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br />removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br />adding or removing waste. This was corrected on site. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />Observed 2- 55 gallon drums of used oil with illegible hazardous waste labels and 1- 55 gallon drum of waste <br />antifreeze with no hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br />information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, corrosive or flammable) <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br />it cannot be determined how long the 2-55 gallon drums of used oil and 1-55 gallon drum of waste antifreeze have been <br />on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a <br />copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br />608 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />Observed 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filter without the accumulation start date. Used oil filters shall be drained <br />of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br />accumulation start date. Immediately mark the accumulation start date and ensure that all used oil filters are <br />managed in this way. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for 2014 and 2015 were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading <br />must be kept on site for at least three years.
