EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURES <br />`► Responsibilities <br />The Emergency Coordinator is responsible for implementing the evacuation procedures. The <br />Emergency Coordinator will notify personnel of the need for an evacuation. <br />Employees and visitors will be directed to the proper exit and the assigned rally point outside of the <br />facility. Rally point at the gate at Camino Real. <br />`► Procedures <br />The Emergency Coordinator will notify personnel if an evacuation may be necessary. <br />The Emergency Coordinator will assess the conditions and order an evacuation or other <br />actions required. <br />When an evacuation is announced, STOP WORK. Personnel should use the closest available <br />exit. <br />All employees must leave the facility and report to the designated rally point. Do Not Run. Do <br />not linger in entranceways or driveways. Stay together in your assigned safe area. <br />The Emergency Coordinator will make certain that all employees have cleared the facility. <br />The Emergency Coordinator will notify personnel when it is safe to reenter the facility. <br />Stay outside the facility until notified to reenter. <br />m► Evacuation Routes <br />• The diagram of the facility shows the routes to use when evacuating. <br />• Emergency Precautions <br />• Keep calm, think, and avoid panic. <br />• Know all exit locations <br />• Do Not lock office doors when vacating the facility. The Emergency Coordinator and emergency <br />support personnel must have access to all areas to ensure that the facility is clear of personnel. <br />• Do not delay evacuation of the facility for any reason. <br />• Do not assist in fire control unless you are properly trained and qualified. <br />• When evacuating the facility, WALK to the nearest safe exit. Report to the safe area away from <br />the facility and wait for instructions. <br />• Keep out of the way, stay clear of the facility, and Do Not interfere with emergency operations. <br />• Do not re-enter the facility until instructed to do so. <br />Revised 3/1/2013 <br />12 <br />
