Cleaning And Sanitizing Instruction For Potable Water Tank <br />Using Household Bleach <br />Before proceeding to tank sanitation, open all drain/Faucet valves in the unit to empty any and all remaining water inside the <br />tank. Once tank has been drained, close up any drain/Faucet valves previously opened - <br />7. Remove Portective cap from the potable water tank located on the Front or top of the water tank. <br />Attach a manual (diagramed) or automatic chemical pump to the end or the breather rube leading down to the water tank. <br />Run Bleach through and down the breather tube in the Following quantities: <br />7 Tablespoon (TBSP) Bleach per 7 Gallon of Water <br />or <br />1 Cup (6' oz.) Bleach per 25 Gallons of Water <br />or <br />7 Quart (32 oz.) Bleach per 700 Gallons of Water <br />Once the appropriate measure of Bleach has been added, continue to fill the water tank to Full capacity- <br />'''. Open faucet valves and allow water to drain out until the scent of bleach becomes noticable• Shut the Faucets and move the <br />unit (hauling if trailer/driving if truck) to allow bleach and water solution to make contact with all of the tank. Allow solution <br />to sit in unit overnight- <br />. <br />5. The Following day, drain the remaining solution by opening the Faucet and Water Neater Pressure Valve • Close the valve and <br />refill the water tank with regular water.
