All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#38 Approved / Sufficient Ventilation and Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Two interior lights don't work and an exterior light also is not working. Replace and make sure they all <br />have covers. Correct by 1 week. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Exhaust hoods shall be provided to remove toxic gases, heat, grease, vapors and smoke and be approved by <br />the local building department. Canopy-type hoods shall extend 6" beyond all cooking equipment. All areas shall have sufficient ventilation <br />to facilitate proper food storage. Toilet rooms shall be vented to the outside air by a screened openable window, an air shaft, or a <br />light-switch activated exhaust fan, consistent with local building codes. (114149, 114149.1) Adequate lighting shall be provided in all areas <br />to facilitate cleaning and inspection. Light fixtures in areas where open food is stored, served, prepared, and where utensils are washed <br />shall be of shatterproof construction or protected with light shields. (114149.2, 114149.3, 114252, 114252.1) <br />#39 Thermometers Provided/Accurate/Easily Visible <br />OBSERVATIONS: Probe thermometer is not working. Replace by 2 days. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br />available to the food handler. A thermometer +7- 2 #F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br />and high temperature warewashing machines. (114157, 114159) <br />#64 Lack of Proper Owner Identification <br />OBSERVATIONS: Both sides of vehicle lack owners name. Provide by 1 week. Letters shall be at least one inch in height. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: 1. The business name or the name of the operator, city state and ZIP code, and the name of the permittee if <br />different from the business name is not clearly visible on the customer side of the mobile food facility. [§114299(a)] 2. Business or <br />operator name is not at least 3 inches high and address is not one inch high. [§114299(b)] 3. Sign is not in contrasting color with the <br />vehicle exterior. [§114299(b)] 4.
