PRECISS -
SERVICE Inc
Serving Agriculture Since 1945
PHONE: (209) 369-4408 • 11919 N . LOWER SACRAMENTO RD. • LOD1, CALIFORNIA 95240
November 22, 1988
TO: San Joaquin County Planners
Re: 1) General Plan Application GP 89-4
2) PD 89-1
3) Major Subdivision SU 89-5
This letter is in objection to the above mentioned
applications by H & C Logan Jr, of Logan Development in
the care of Wong Engineers of Stockton. The proposed
property is on Boggiano Lane roughly one-half mile South
of Waterloo Road.
The original division of two 5 acre parcels on the above
property was to an Ed Brown, approved on the agreement that
the remaining 30 acres would be farmed. Well, here we go.
Brown passes on the ranch to Logan who now wants to put a
subdivision on the remaining 30 acres in the middle of prime
orchard land rendering the neighbors farming practices in
the scrutiny of city people wanting peace and quiet of the
country life. Those of us who work and live in the country
know this is not always the case. Mr. Logan can not even
sell the two homes that are on the propert now. They have
been for sale for 6 months now at roughly 300K each.
Clearly the demand for this type of home is not there and
now he wants to build more?
As adjoining property owners and farmers we feel you on
the planning commission are allowing too much random devel-
opment east of town in prime farming areas. Please take this
matter into consideration and vote against anything other
than GA 40 in the farm areas. Thank You.
cerely Q
hn A. Precissi
9 68 E.
