A 55 <br />gallon black steel drum of waste oily solids was observed outside the building with no hazardous waste labeling and <br />incorrectly labeled as used oil filters. Two 55 gallon gray steel drums of used oil were observed inside the building <br />with no hazardous waste labeling. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />- physical state (liquid, solid) <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br />it cannot be determined how long these wastes have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of these wastes under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by December 30, 2015. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
