Cleaning find Sanitizing Instruction for Potable Water Tan i Using Household Bleach <br /> Before proceeding to tank sanitation, open all drain/faucet valves in the unit to <br /> empty any and all remaining water inside the tank- Once tank has been drained, <br /> close up any drain/Faucet valves previously opened- <br /> 7- Remove Portective 76-Mesh per sq-in- cap from the potable water tank <br /> breather tube located on the top of the trailer- <br /> 2- Attach a manual(diagramed) or automatic chemical pump to the end of <br /> the breather rube leading down to the water tank- <br /> 3- Run Bleach through and down the breather tube in the following quantities: <br /> 1 Tablespoon(785P) Bleach per 1 Callon of Water <br /> OR <br /> 7 Cup(6 oz-) Bleach per 25 Gallons of Water <br /> OR <br /> 1 Quart (32 oz-) Bleach per 100 Gallons of Water <br /> Once the appropriate measure of Bleach has been added, continue to Fill the water <br /> tank to full capacity- <br /> 14- Open faucet valves and allow water to drain out until the scent of bleach becomes <br /> noticable- Shut the faucets and move the unit (hauling if trailer/driving if truck) to <br /> allow bleach and water solution to make contact with all of the tank- Allow solution <br /> to sit in unit overnight- <br /> 5- The following day, drain the remaining solution by opening the faucet and Water <br /> !-/eater Pressure Valve- Close the valve and refill the water tank with regular water- <br /> Drain <br /> aterDrain and repeat procedure unit the scent of bleach has deminished- <br /> rhe water tank, pump (if applicable) and hoses should be flushed and sanitized CAL CENTRAL CATERING TRAILER <br /> before being placed in service or after construction, repair, modification, and periods 3511 Finch Rd.#A <br /> of nonuse- MODESTO CA 95357 <br /> (866)549-1550 <br /> For.
