Let PE 2546 GAITAN <br /> 120 min me know that there was a 15-gallon hydraulic oil spill at 3028 Navy Dr. Stockton, SC 544 <br /> CA Complainant: Eddy McCullough, Health and Safety Manager for Pacific <br /> Ethanol Stockton. (209) 851-4088 <br /> Contacted Eddy, he states that 15 gallons of hydraulic oil were released due to a <br /> damaged hydraulic line on a dump truck. He states that no water ways were <br /> impacted and that releases were contained. <br /> Contacted Muniappa Naidu (Program Coordinator) updating him. <br /> Contacted Eddy requesting an email and letting him know that I will be arriving. <br /> McCullough@pacificethanol.com <br /> Met with Eddy, he showed me spill area. He had his maintenance crew placing <br /> more absorbent and cleaning solution on to oil stain area. He states that used <br /> absorbent and any additional waste generated will be treated as hazardous waste. <br /> I asked where the used absorbent used to clean-up the additional clean-up. Eddy <br /> states that Alegre Trucking maintenance crew took the used absorbent with them. <br /> He mentioned that the Alegre Truck driver contacted Alegre maintenance crew to <br /> fix hydraulic line and used absorbent from spill kit located on site. He states that <br /> crew left around 11 am this morning, the release of the hydraulic oil occurred <br /> around 7:30am. Met with Jeffrey Unsinger, Plant Manager, he gave me the <br /> contact information for Alegre Trucking. Although, Jeffrey states that Pacific <br /> Ethanol Stockton are not the responsible party for the spill, he did confirm that <br /> additional cleaning of the hydraulic oil stains will be managed by pacific ethanol <br /> employees and hauled off along with their own hazardous waste. <br /> Updated Muniappa Naidu (Program Coordinator). <br /> Contacted Alegre Trucking (209) 234-1906. Spoke to Dante Ridolfi, CFO, of <br /> Alegre Trucking. Notified him about hydraulic oil release, he states that he was <br /> aware of release. I let him know that the used absorbent was taken off site by <br /> Alegre Trucking employees. He states that he was not aware of that and will get <br /> back to me to get me more information about the matter. <br /> 1:36pm received call from Dante Ridolfi, CFO of Alegre Trucking. (209) 234-1906, <br /> updated me informing that 3 garbage size bags of used absorbent boos and total <br /> of 20 pounds of used loose absorbent were taken by Alegre Trucking <br /> maintenance crew to 747 Roth Rd. French Camp, CA 95231. He states that used <br /> absorbent will be treated as hazardous waste. <br /> Received call from Dante. He informed me that American Valley Waste Oil will be <br /> picking up the hazardous waste by this Friday. He will send me a copy of disposal <br /> receipt.
