Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2002 <br /> MOORE TRUCK LINES <br />' 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Enc Weilburg of Moore Truck Lines, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 3400 Newton Road (site), <br /> Stockton, California This report documents procedures and results for quarterly ground water <br />' monitoring for the first quarter 2002 <br /> The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures and well locations are <br />' illustrated on Figure 2 Background Information, well installation and ground water monitoring <br /> procedures for the site are summarized In the AGE-prepared documents, Preliminary Investigation <br /> and Evaluation Report, dated 15 September 1999,Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated. <br />' 23 May 2001 and Monitoring Well Installation & Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2001, dated <br /> 26 November 2001 Groundwater sample data from November 1999 to the present are summarized <br /> in Tables 3 and 4 of this report <br /> I <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Four ground water monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 and MW-4) and domestic well DW-1 <br /> were monitored and sampled on 11 February 2002 Field work was performed in accordance with <br />' Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for investigations of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' On l I February 2002, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 and MW-4 relative to the tops of the well casings,(well <br />' head) After water levels were gauged, disposable plastic bailers were used to evacuate (purge) <br /> MW-2, MW-3 and MW-4 of a minimum of three casing-water volumes (approximately 8 to 9 <br /> gallons)of water,MW-1 was bailed dry after one gallon had been removed Temperature, pH, and <br /> conductivity were measured at regular intervals using an Oakton water analyzer The field data sheets <br /> are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in 55-gallon drums <br />' 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' Water samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-3 and MW-4 using new <br /> plastic bailers A water sample was collected from domestic well DW-1 after the well purge valve <br /> was opened and water was allowed to run until the pump turned on The samples were transferred <br /> Advanced GeoE nviron mental,Inc <br />
