INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Weilburg of Moore Truck Lines,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has <br /> prepared this quarterly report for the site at 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California The scope of <br /> work included monitoring and sampling one ground water monitoring well (MW-1) and sampling <br />' one domestic well (DW-1) to assess for petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates Monitoring <br /> well MW-1 is located in the vicinity of an unauthorized release of petroleum hydrocarbons from <br />' USTs formerly located near the truck maintenance and repair shop building Domestic well DW 1 <br /> is utilized as an on-site water supply and is the closest potential sensitive receptor, located <br /> approximately 145 feet away from the former under ground storage tank(UST) area DW-1 has been <br />' in a down-to crass-gradient position relative to the former UST area during the last four monitoring <br /> events <br />' The preparation of this report was required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services- <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to document and update site status The site setting is <br /> illustrated on Figure 1 Locations of structures, borings, domestic wells, and the monitoring well on <br /> the site are illustrated on Figure 2 Locations of structures and monitoring wells on adjacent sites are <br /> illustrated on Figure 3 <br />' Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are detailed m the AGE-prepared <br /> Preliminary InvPrti6ation and Evaluation Report (PIER) dated 15 September 1999 <br /> I <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br />' Quarterly ground water monitoring was performed on 18 June 2001 Field work was performed in <br /> accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) and PHS- <br />' EHD guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites and sampling ground <br /> water monitoring wells <br />' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 18 June 2001, a Solimst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring well MW-I relative to the top of the well casing (well head) After the ground water <br /> depth measurement was collected,monitoring well MW 1 was purged using a new disposable plastic <br />' bailer Approximately 1 gallon of water(approxirnately 1 well casing-water volume)was evacuated <br /> from the monitoring well before it was pumped dry <br /> Advanced GeoEnvlronmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
