INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Weilburg of Moore Truck Lines,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has <br /> prepared this quarterly report for the site at 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California The scope of <br />' work included monitoring and sampling ground water monitoring well (MW-1) and sampling one <br /> domestic well (DW-1) for the petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates Monitoring well MW-1 <br /> was utilized for monitoring petroleum hydrocarbon-impact and MTBF-impact to ground water' <br />' associated with an unauthorized release of petroleum hydrocarbons from USTs formerly located near <br /> the truck maintenance and repair shop building Domestic well DW-1 is utilized for on-site water <br /> and is the closest potential sensitive receptor, located approximately 145 feet away from the farmer <br />' under ground storage tank (UST) area DW-1 has been located down- to cross-gradient from the <br /> former UST area during the last three morntoring events The preparation of this report was required <br />' by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to <br /> document and update site status The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Locations of structures, <br /> borings, domestic wells, and the monitoring well on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 Locations <br /> of structures and monitoring wells on adjacent sites are illustrated on Figure 3 <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are detailed in the AGE-prepared <br />' Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report(PIER), dated 15 September 1999 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County PHS-EHD and Central Valley <br />' Regional Water Quality Control Board guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites <br />' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 27 September 2000, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> to monitoring well MW-1 relative to the top of the well casing (well head) After the ground water <br /> I depth measurement was collected, monitoring well MW-1 was purged using a polyvinylchlonde <br /> (PVC)bailer The well was purged dry prior to sampling Approximately 2 5 gallons of water were <br /> evacuated from the monitoring well, equivalent to more than three casing water volumes <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at 1-gallon intervals using a Hydac water analyzer <br /> to monitor stabilization of these ground water parameters The field data are tabulated and are <br /> included in Appendix A Purged water is temporarily being stored on-site in 55-gallon drums <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,[nc <br /> I <br />
