INTRODUCTION <br /> Y <br /> At the request of Mr Weilburg of Moore Truck Lines,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has <br />' prepared this Quarterly Report for the site at 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California The scope w <br /> ofwork included monitoring and sampling groundwater monitoring well(MW-1)and sampling one <br /> domestic well(DW-1)for petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates Monitoring well MW-1 was <br />' utilized for monitoring petroleum hydrocarbon-impact and MTBE-impact to ground water associated <br /> with an unauthorized release of petroleum hydrocarbons from USTs formerly located near the truck <br /> maintenance and repair shop building Domestic well DW-1 is utilized for on-site water and is the <br />' closest potential sensitive receptor, located approximately 145 feet away from the former Under <br /> Ground Storage Tank(UST) area DW-1 has been located down-to cross-gradient from the former <br /> UST area dunng the last three monitoring events The preparation of this report was required by the <br />' San Joaquin County, Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to <br /> document and update site status The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Locations of structures, <br /> borings, domestic wells, and the monitonng well on the site are illustrated on Figure,2 Locations <br />' of structures and monitoring wells on adjacent sites are illustrated on Figure 3 <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are detailed in the AGE-prepared <br />' Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report(PIER), dated 15 September 1999 <br />' 20. PROCEDURES <br /> The work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County PHS-EHD and Central Valley <br /> ,Regional Water Quality Control Board guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 14 June 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring well MW-1 relative to the top of the well casing After the ground water depth <br />' measurement was collected, monitoring well MW-1 was purged using a polyvinylchloride (PVC) <br /> bailer The well was purged dry prior to sampling Approximately 3 gallons of water were evacuated <br /> from the monitoring well, equivalent to more than three well-casing volumes <br /> Temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at I-gallon intervals,using a Hydac water analyzer <br /> to monitor stabilization of these ground water'parameters The field data are tabulated and are <br /> included in Appendix A Purged water is temporarily being stored on-site in 55-gallon drums <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> ' ry <br />
