1 <br />' Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2003 <br /> MOORE TRUCK LINES <br />' 3400 Newton Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Eric Weilburg of Moore Truck Lines, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 3400 Newton Road (site), <br /> Stockton, California The scope of work included conducting a quarterly ground water monitoring <br />' event and preparation of this report The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 On- <br /> site structures and well locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' Background information, well Installation and ground water monitoring procedures for the site are <br /> summarized in the AGE-prepared documents, Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report,, <br /> dated 15 September 1999, Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated 23 May 2001 and <br />' Monitoring Well Installation & Quarterly Report- Third Quarter 2001, dated 26 November 2001 <br /> Ground water sample data from November 1999 to the present are summarized in Tables 3 and 4 <br /> of this report 2 <br /> rn <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Four ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-4) and domestic well DW-1 were <br /> monitored and sampled on 28 March 2003 The field work was performed In accordance with <br />' Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for investigations of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> I <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 28 March 2003, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4 relative to the tops of the well casings (well heads) After <br /> water levels were gauged, disposable plastic bailers were used to evacuate (purge) wells MW-2, <br /> MW-3 and MW-4 of a minimum of three casing-water volumes(approximately 7 gallons)of water, <br /> MW-1 was bailed dry after purging approximately 0 5 gallons Temperature,pH, and conductivity <br /> I were measured at regular intervals using an Oakton water analyzer The field data sheets are included <br /> in Appendix Purged water was stored on site in 55-gallon drums <br /> �•L <br /> w,,a 05 <br /> i <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> IWater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4 using new plastic bailers <br /> after allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume In <br /> addition, a water sample was collected from domestic well DW-1 after the well purge valve was <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
