Bowles : <br /> California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) staff <br /> conducted a state inspection of the waste tire facility located <br /> at 301 East Lodi Avenue, Lodi, CA on February 20, 1996, pursuant <br /> to Division 30, Public Resources Code (PRC) , Section 43303 . The <br /> site was evaluated for compliance with applicable sections of the <br /> PRC and Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR) . Enclosed <br /> is a copy of the State Inspection Report for your records . <br /> The following violations of Division 30, PRC and Title 14 , CCR <br /> were documented: <br /> 30 PRC 42833 Operator Authorized by Permit <br /> 14 CCR 17351 Fire Prevention Measures <br /> 14 CCR 17353 Vector Control Measures <br /> 14 CCR 17354 Storage of Waste Tires <br /> 14 CCR 18423 Filing of Application <br /> The CIWMB' s Enforcement Branch is .requesting that you complete <br /> the enclosed corrective action plan by April 1, 1996 . The plan <br /> specifies tasks that are required to comply with the technical <br /> standards set forth in the regulations prior to obtaining a Waste <br /> Tire Facility Permit (Permit) . (If a Permit is not desired, then <br /> please submit plays for the removal/disposal of these tires to a <br /> CIWMB approved site by the aforementioned date . ) Please address <br /> all required tasks and the anticipated completion dates needed to <br /> satisfy the following: <br /> 14 CCR 17351 Fire Prevention Measures <br /> (A) Provide adequate equipment to aid in the control of fires, <br /> including all of the following: <br /> * 1 dry chemical fire extinguisher <br /> * 1 two and one-half gallon water extinguisher <br /> * 1 pike pole at least ten feet in length <br /> * 1 round point and 1 square point shovel <br /> (B) Provide an adequate water supply for use by the local fire <br /> authority.
