Corrective Action Statement <br />7. Anti -freeze in the storage room and absorbent pads on the floor around the de -coiling machine <br />used with the flying shear were removed from the site. A sample of the metal fines has been taken <br />by Safety-Kleen for evaluation as a hazardous waste and for particle size determination. The one 1 - <br />gallon bottle of unknown liquid is actually stainless steel cleaner used in production. (The label is <br />not clearly visible to me from a slight distance so I was unable to identify it at the time of <br />inspection.) See ma ' st summary list and copies of the manifests for records of disposal. <br />11. The oil spillage and machine leakage) around the de -coiling machine used with the flying <br />shear has been cleaned. Oil absorbent pads are picked up more frequently, and as needed to <br />minimize the possibility of a hazardous condition. Loose hydraulic connections (within the de - <br />coiling machine) have been tightened where possible with collection devices positioned to reduce <br />oil spillage. The de -oiling equipment is being evaluated for additional maintenance to further <br />minimize a hazardous ondition. <br />20. All referenced co tainers have been removed from the site. All empty containers are marked <br />with the "empty" date with properly identified hazardous waste labels attached once accumulation <br />begins. See manifestsummary list and copies of the manifests for records of disposal. <br />23. Used oil filters hate been removed from the site. See manifest summary list and copies of the <br />manifests for records 4 disposal. There are no records of prior disposal. <br />27. The bung was installed in the waste oil drum during the inspection. <br />30. All extra waste qrums have been removed from the site. All remaining empty drums are <br />marked with the "em ty" date with properly identified hazardous waste labels attached once <br />accumulation begins. 4ee manifest summary list and copies of the manifests for records of disposal. <br />50.
