s <br />EC:ONO LUBE Nm TUNE, INC. 7146236 P.02 <br />0 ­ <br />RCtUTINE MONITQRiNG F'ROCEDVI'E 6/1'6/93 <br />SHOP N4.130 - 6970 WEST LANE S OCRT©IV C&LTEQFNIA <br />This Underground Storage Tank at this location is equipped with an <br />electronic, constant -monitoring, leak detection and high level <br />alarm system. The Leak Detector is connected to three separate <br />probes; one for leak detection for the tank annular space, one for <br />leak detection for the piping annular space, and one for the high <br />level alarm. All three probes are "Liquid Sensing" probes. The <br />Leak detector is also equipped with a "TEST" button. <br />To ensure that the Leak Detector is functioning properly, the Shop <br />Manager will depress the "TEST" button once a week, or whenever he <br />suspects that the Leak Detector is not operating properly.. <br />This will be done at the Leak. Detector, Located at the column at <br />the east end of the lube pit as shown in the Building Diagram in <br />the Hazardous Materials Management Plan. <br />Monitoring will be performed by the shop Manager, Mr. Dave Mason, <br />on a weekly basis, and logged cn the attached Monitoring Log. <br />To quote the manufacturer of the Leak Detection System, " The <br />Tankgard System requires minimal maintenance other than periodic <br />calibration". As the manufacturer's instructions do not stipulate <br />a maintenance schedule, the Leak Detection system probes will be <br />pulled, tested, and calibrated on an annual basis. Any <br />maintenance, or repairs, necessary as a result of such testing <br />shall be made immediately. <br />Training consists of operating the Underground Waste rail Storage <br />Tank and Collection System as described in the Hazardous Materials <br />Management Plan. <br />
