RESPn 2 7148516836 P.04 SHOP NO.130 - 6970 WEST LATJE, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 6/x.6/93 In the event that the Leak Detector Alarm is triggered, the Shop Manager, Mr. Dave Mason, shall open the door and check to see how many sensors are alarming. An alarm may be caused by many reasons other than a tank, or piping, leak. In the event of a suspected leak, Dave will pull the appropriate inspection cover, raise the probe, and check that the probe is functioning properly by dipping it in waste oil, if the probe is working properly, Dave will pump out any liquid present in the containment area and inspect the liquid. If the liquid is waste oil, all waste oil will be removed from the tank & piping within 24 hours. No further waste oil will be placed in the underground tank and/or piping until the tank and/or piping can be replaced to current standards. In the interim, waste oil will be stored in appropriately labled 55 gallon drums. All waste oil will be recycled by Evergreen Environmental Services, our regular authorized hazardous materials hauler. If the liquid is not waste oil, Dave shall arrange to have the liquid tested. Any liquid determined to contain hazardous materials shall be stored in appropriately labled drums, and properly disposed of once the liquid is identified. The source of the liquid shall be identifies:, and the leak sealed, prior to reinstallation of the probe. If the High Level Alarm is triggered, nave shall arrange to have the tank pumped out by Evergreen Environmental Services within 24 hours, The two (2) rolling drain pans will be used for temporary interim storage. In the event that a waste oil leak is discovered, and confirmed, appropriate notification shall be made per the Hazardous Materials Management Plan. Dave Mason, the shop Manager, is the Primary Contact Person in the event of a leak, and will notify the Operator, Mr. Noor Noory, in the event of a confirmed waste oil leak. Mr. Noory is responsible for authorizing any work necessary ether than pumping, under the response plan.
