Tanks and supplies have been ordered by SEMCO for the tank installation and <br />should arrive the first of December. Our tentative starting date for this work is 11 December <br />1989. <br />The soil remediation work plan will begin first by enlarging the existing excavation and <br />stockpiling this material on the back part of the property. Soil samples will then be collected <br />from the side walls. Ground water may be pumped from the excavation and containerized until <br />treated and disposed in the city waste water treatment system (a permit is being obtained). <br />The excavation will then be backfilled and compacted with soil from the new tank excavation. <br />This soil will be tested before being placed in the old excavation. <br />The stockpiled. soil will be. composite sampled and analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons.
