Interlake
Material Handling
Vic Mondani,Facilities Engineer
1029 South Sacramento Street
Lodi, CA 95240
December 14, 1998
Ms. Letitia Briggs, R.E.H.S.
PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES OF
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
304 E. Weber Ave., Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Dear Ms. Briggs:
The purpose of this correspondence is to follow-up on a spill that we had on
October 23, 1998. During your visit on that day; you had asked to be sent a copy
of the manifest for the disposal of the waste water . Our portable clean-up unit
for spills consist of a wet/dry vacuum that can be discharged into 1 of 4 55
gallon drums mounted on a special pallet. This was used to pick-up the overflow
water. It was then pumped into our 5,000 gallon holding tank where the same
type of waste waters are temporarily stored prior to discharge into the city of
Lodi's industrial sewer. This was discharged on the 11th of November. See
enclosed discharge log and my internal memo - account of incident.
Best Regards,
Vic Mondani
Manufacturing Engineer
