While considerable attention has
been paid to the oxygenate methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) other oxygenates were
commonly used during the operation of the former underground storage tanks,including 1,2-
dibromoethane (EDB) and 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and can be detected using EPA Method
8260. Please modify the analytical scope to include EPA Method 8260 analysis of selected ;
samples.
PIease submit the additional information requested and a drilling permit application along
with the $89 permit fee.
