Haeck <br /> of Harding Lawson Associates(HLA). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues raised in the <br /> November 19, 1997 PHS/EHD letter to TVG regarding the proposed Supplemental Site Investigation at the <br /> above referenced Site (PHS/EHD, 1997). During the meeting it was collectively agreed that the Site <br /> appears to qualify as a low-risk groundwater site and the purpose of the supplemental investigation is to <br /> collect the remaining additional site data required to submit a site closure request in accordance with the <br /> criteria outlined in Appendix B to the Tri Regional Board Staff Recommendations (RWQCB, 1996). <br /> WORK PLAN ADDITIONS AND MODIFICATIONS <br /> In response to requests in the above referenced PHS/EHD letter to TVG dated November 19, 1997, the <br /> following additions and modifications to the work plan were agreed on: <br /> The fractured casing on the top of monitoring well MW-1 will be repaired during the proposed <br /> y ( , investigation. The procedures utilized will be documented along with the results of the investigation <br /> in the Closure Report requesting No Further Action (NFA) in accordance with Appendix B (RWQCB, <br /> 1996). <br /> • The monitoring wells will be resurveyed to a common datum by licensed surveyor following <br /> installation of monitoring well MW-7. <br /> • Two hydropunch samples (at depths of first water and 20 feet below ground surface (bgs)) will be <br /> collected from each of the two 20-foot borings and three hydropunch groundwater samples will be <br /> collected from the 30-foot boring (at depths of first water, 20 feet bgs, and 30 feet bgs). <br /> • In accordance with RWQCB letter dated August 30, 1997 (RWQCB, 1997), during the proposed <br /> Supplemental Site Investigation, one soil and one groundwater sample will be analyzed for the <br /> following chemicals by EPA Method 8260 to satisfy RWQCB closure requirements: <br /> tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) <br /> • methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) <br /> Engineering and <br /> Environmental Services 10265 Rockingham Drive,Suite 150,Sacramento,CA 95827 916/364-0793 Fax:916/364-5633 <br />
