This resolution directs all contaminated underground storage tank sites currently under
regulatory oversight by either the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) or a Local
Oversight Program (LOP) to reduce routine quarterly groundwater sampling of their monitoring
wells to a semi-annual schedule unless site-specific needs warrant otherwise.
The above subject site is currently listed with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department's (EHD) LOP. This letter is to inform you that per SWRCB resolution No. 2009-0042
and based on analytical results reported in the first and second quarter 2009 reports, you are to
reduce sampling of any monitoring wells currently on a quarterly sampling schedule to an annual
schedule. Analyze the groundwater samples collected annually from all wells for methyl tertiary-
butyl ether (MTBE), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified
as diesel (TPH-d).
If you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-
9852, or by email at vmccartney@sjcehd.com.
Sincerely,
,4 c
Victoria L.
