Mr. Nuel Henderson, P.G., is out of the office today
so I can not reschedule the meeting until I know his availability. "
Mr. William Little, P.G., of Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. (AGE) has scheduled the fieldwork for Friday, April 15,
2011, to collect soil gas samples for the analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) at
your site located at 932 East Frontage Road in Ripon, California. I will be`there for the inspection.
I am hopeful that the three samples will be collected according to the work plan submitted by AGE and approved
by this department by letter dated August 27, 2008; and that AGE will provide the report of findings from the TPH-d
'l soil gas investigation and the guidance documents that support how the data for total petroleum hydrocarbons
quantified as gasoline (TPH-g)were manipulated to interpret the health.risk posed through vapor intrusion, without
furtl-ier delay.
Once this information is provided by AGE, our department can determine whether your site can be closed.
Vicki McCartney,Senior RENS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
i 600 East Main Street
Stockton, California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: vinccartnev(c7/si_cehd.coni
E
i
E
From: Allan Fetters [mailto:c-afetters@sbcglobal.net]
Sent: Wednesday, April 06, 2011 10:03 AM
E To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
I Subject: RFLand issues in Letter dated April 1 to Allan Fetters
I will not be in the state on April 27th for your requested meeting:'l will be available May2-4. I would be
more than happy to meet at that time if you and Bill Little (A.GE.) have not resolved a completion strategy
by then. I am in the process of selling the property to others in order to commence a Nitrate cleanup
program. This will require the removal of all structures and improvements. If you feel I need to solicit the
services of another environmental cleanup company, Please advise.Your technical challenges regarding this
property are beyond my comprehension. I feel I have done all that I was advised to do by A.G.E. but it's
never right or the interpretations are different. If A.G.E. can't do it;to your satisfaction then I'll have to find
someone else. Bill Little informs me that the re-do of the vapor studies could not be done during the peak of
the rainy season.
Please tell me how to expedite my site closure, as this is holding up the sale and impending Nitrate cleanup.
Thanks for your consideration in' this matter -
Allan R Fetters
Pres of RF Land Inc
(209) 476-8213
4/6/2011
