(AGE) is more than willing to provide all data requested to your office.
Initially, the most recent ground water gradient flow direction is illustrated on Figure 3 - Relative
Ground later Elevation, this indicates the movement of ground water onto the Jimco property, from
the RFS site. Additionally, the location of boring B-13, appears to have been established on the
southern boundary of the RFS and the Jimco property. The enclosed Figure 2 -Site Plan, depicts the
boring as B-13. The analytical soil and ground water data is attached to this correspondence for the
matter of clarification. Ground water collected from boring B-13, contained elevated concentrations
of both gasoline and diesel fuel. Additionally investigation north of borin -13-13 will be required.
AGE will provided a five (5) day advanced notice to your office, to allow for oversight by your
environmental engineers. Split soil and ground water samples can be provided to your engineers. In
regards to waste generation from the proposed scope of work for the installation of the monitoring
wells, all cutting, rinseate and purged ground water will be stored on-site, the site refers to the Ripon
Farm Services site. The Geoprobe soil and ground water sampling equipment does not generate soil
cuttings. The equipment simply drives to the desired level of soil strata and then collects the soil in
a discrete one-inch brass soil tube. The ground water sampling device uses a metal screen and tygon
tubbing. The water sampler utilizes the same aperture for both the soil sampling and ground water
sampling. The enclosed material is provided by Geoprobe. Inc., strictly as a tool for demonstration.
The scope of work only includes the advancement of four soil probing on the Jimco site and one soil
probing on the Ripon Farm Service site.
1803 West March Lane, Suite A, Stockton,California 95207
Telephone(209)956-0264 FAX(209)956-0700
