(AGE)has <br /> prepared this report documenting the destruction of for the destruction of six (6) ground <br /> water monitoring wells, fifteen (15) soil vapor extraction wells and four (4) ground air <br /> sparging wells at 932 East Frontage Road, South Highway 99, Ripon, California (site). <br /> During well destruction activities, monitoring well MW-5 was not destroyed and was <br /> transferred to the former Ripon Farm Service nitrate investigation currently being <br /> performed at the site. The site location is depicted on Figure 1; site structures and former <br /> well locations are depicted on Figure 2. <br /> I NTRODUCTIONIBAC KGROU N D <br /> Ground water monitoring and remediation wells had previously been installed at the site <br /> as part of a leaking underground storage tank (UST) subsurface investigation. A total of <br /> seven (7) two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-5, MW-9 <br /> and MW-10) were installed to 34 and 35 feet below surface grade (bsg). Fifteen (15) two- <br /> inch diametersoil vaporextraction wells(VW-1 alb,VW-1 alb,VW-3a/b,VW-4 through VW- <br /> 8, VW-9a/b, VW-10 and VW-11) were installed to depths of 13, 18, and 35 feet bsg. Four <br /> air sparging wells (IAS-1 through IAS-4) were installed to depths of 25 feet bsg. <br /> Monitoring wells were destroyed in accordance with San Joaquin County Department of <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) directives by letter dating, 07 November 2011 <br /> (Appendix A).
