_ r <br /> O1 November 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 95-0137 <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br /> 2.4, LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California DHS-certified laboratory for the <br /> following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel (TPH-g and TPH-d) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons: Benz ne, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX) <br /> in accordance with EPA Method 802#; and <br /> • Oxygenated compounds:di-isopropyl ether(DIPE),ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),methyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), <br /> methanol, ethanol, ethylene dibromide (EDB) and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8260. <br /> Selected soil samples may also be analyzed for intrinsic permeability,moisture content,porosity an <br /> total organic carbon (TQC) in accordance with the appropriate EPA or ASTM methods. f <br /> Laboratory reports of soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report <br /> 2.5. GROUND WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> f7�GfY� <br /> �d o` <br /> Following the installation of the new monitoring wells, ground water monitoring and sampling <br /> activities will be conducted for all the monitoring wells on a quarterly basis for a minimum of one <br /> year (four sampling events); monitoring activities will include recording depth to ground water <br /> measurements and collection of ground water samples for laboratory analysis by a DHS-certified <br /> laboratory for the analytes noted above. Ground water sample collection protocols are described in <br /> Section 3.4.. <br /> Laboratory reports for groundwater analyses,testing methods,laboratory QA/QC reports and sample <br /> chain of custody documentation will be presented in quarterly reports with findings and <br /> recommendations. <br /> 2.6. PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> Following each ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared presenting the <br /> findings.Each report will include a description of work performed and the results of the groundwater <br /> sampling and analysis.
