05 January 2004
'AGE-NC Project No. 95-0137
tPage 7 of 8
Analytical results of soil samples analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons are summarized in Tables 7'
and 8. The complete laboratory reports (CAL Laboratory ID 031.0112 and 0310128), quality
assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reports and chains-of-custody are in in Appendix F.
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on-the data collected from the site, AGE finds,
• Approximately 26.95 kg(59.425 lbs)or 9.5 gallons of TPH-g were extracted and destroyed
' by the SVE network at the site between September and December 2003 (third and fourth
quarters), for a total of 2,122.45 kg (4,229.125 lbs) or 748.5 gallons TPH-g removed
between December 2000 and December 2003.
' Extracted organic vapor concentrations measured with the OVM were low compared to the
analytical results from the soil-vapor samples; the highest concentration of organic vapor
measured with the OVM was 15 ppmv.
The ground water depth increased an average of 1.6 feet between the second and fourth
quarter monitoring events; the decreased depth of the water table has exposed additional
petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil to the SVE system.
• Dissolved hydrocarbon concentrations were generally below detection limits and remained
' well below the highest concentrations detected at the site.
• Dissolved 1,2 DCA concentrations have remained stable and generally declining;however,
the concentrations are still above the MCL of 0.5 µg/1 in drinking water.
• The hydrocarbon impact to soil has been mitigated. - baa l h qG t►z9 r7 Si ,
{
1
' Advanced GeoEnvirunmental,Inc.
