Payment Summary Page 2 of 2
Claim No: 12586 Claimant: TULEBURG WAREHOUSE
Request No: 26 Reviewer: Robert L'Heureux
Region: 5 Date: 02/11/2008
FOOTNOTES
10- STAFF COSTS ARE NOT COMMENSURATE WITH ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED
The level of payment for this invoice Is based upon the actual activities conducted, rather than upon the title that an employee holds who is conducting the activity.
At times, due to scheduling conflicts, staffing,or project conflicts, professional staff will conduct activities that are typically performed by support staff. When this
occurs, the labor rate for the professional should be commensurate with the activities they perform. For example,if a Principal Geologist performs field tasks
performed by a Staff Geologist, then the amount funded will be at the rate of the Staff Geologist. To support the amount determined"Pending,"detailed Information
needs to be submitted supporting that the elevated hourly charges are reasonable and necessary for the work conducted.
61 - RTA Costs
Per Fund Regulation 2812.2(e)(20),the Fund shall pay for regulatory technical assistance(RTA)costs incurred on or after January 1,1997,by an owner or operator
who is otherwise eligible for reimbursement. Effective January 1,2000,however,the Fund cannot reimburse any RTA cost that would cause the RTA
reimbursements for a claim to exceed$3,000. Hence, the Fund's reimbursement limit after December 31,1999,for a claim shall be the lesser of(a)$3,000 or(b)the
difference between$3,000 and RTA costs reimbursed on a claim on or before December 31,1999(thereby limiting RTA reimbursement to$3,000 for the life of a
claim). If a claim had more than$3,000 in RTA costs reimbursed on or before December 31,1999,then the Fund will not be able to issue a reimbursement after
December 31,1999,for any additional RTA costs
Section 2812.1.(b)requires three bids for any work after December 2nd,1991,or cost eligibility may be compromised.
