Touchstone Developments, along with V&IW Drilling, <br /> properly abandoned Wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW43 by drilling out the 4-inch- � <br /> diameter well casings using a hollow-stem-auger drilling rig to an approximate <br /> depth of 23 feet below grade. The well casings, seals, and filter packs were ; <br /> recovered, as best as possible, from the borings and then the empty borings <br /> were backfilled with cement grout to approximately 1 1.12 feet below grade.
